The Little Issue

As part of BYM 2003, QYT put on a performance tackling the issues surrounding teenage homelessness. This is obviously a sensitive issue which needed research: in the end we used real-life case studies, but mixed the details around so that we weren't telling anybody's personal story.
The group met up on Friday at Uxbridge meeting house, which was to be our base for the weekend. The structure of the performance had been brain-stormed already by the facilitators, and the project was spent exploring the case-studies using different dramatic approaches, such as soundscapes and mime. We even wrote an original song for the end of the performance!
The performance went well, better than all the rehearsals, which is the best way round for it to be!
