How can I contribute to Leavenings?

We love to produce a well rounded, diverse piece of literature for people to read that is interesting for participants & people involved with the Leaveners to read as well as being a really good piece of outreach to people who don't know about what we do.

That's where you all come in!

We really welcome, all year round, contributions to go in Leavenings. Nothing is too big or too small and it doesn't just have to be a piece of writing. Here is all the ways you can contribute:

Articles:

full page article = no more than 650 words
half page article = around 300 words
short article = roughly 150 words

As you can see, even a full article isn't that many words to write! If you are writing about an event then it's best to write right after the event when things are fresh in your mind. If you want any help or guidance writing something then please get in contact with me and I can help you. Feel free to share the writing too if you like - collaborative writing is great, write something with your friend or another person on the project.

Quotes:

Send me a very short sentence or paragraph that could be used as a quote. The quote could be about anything - an experience of a project, a memory, something humorous or something spiritual.

Images:

Please, do always send us images that we can use in Leavenings or in publicity. These could be photos from an event or scanned images of something you might have created at an event. It could even just be something you might think we'd be interested in for some reason. You could even put captions to photos and write a photo story for Leavenings!

So, as you can see there are many ways you can contribute. We want to make Leavenings good for everyone and something that you want to read as soon as you get it so please help us achieve that!
